Church Schools

There are four Church Aided Schools in the Team Parish

St. Andrew’s CE (Aided) Infant School, Lightcliffe Road, Brighouse

St. Andrew’s CE (Aided) Junior School, Waterloo Road, Brighouse

St. Chad's CE (Aided) Primary School, Green Lane, Hove Edge

St. John’s CE (Aided) Primary School, Clifton

Our churches appoint the majority of members to the Governing Bodies of these Schools and work with Head Teachers and Staff to provide a high standard of education in a caring Christian environment.

Team Clergy have a regular presence in all four schools and the Eucharist is celebrated for Children, Staff, Governors, Parents and Carers in school or church every term.

Team Clergy regularly take Assemblies in school.

Children and Staff visit church several times each year for Services and Events such as Harvest Festival, Christingle, Education Day, Dedication Day and End of School Year.

St. Martins has a relationship with Brighouse High School, which for many years has held its annual Carol Concert in church. In more recent years St. Martins has hosted a midsummer musical concert performed by over 120 students.
